Our play centre consists of a 2 level adventure play area, with a 4 lane wave slide, 2 tunnel slides, crawling tunnels, cargo nets, ball pits and a separate toddler area for the little ones.​

Parties & Groups

We have special rates for parties and groups depending on the day of the week. We can cater for groups of all sizes, whether its a birthday party or school tour.

Yummy Food

You can purchase various hot and cold food and drinks. We also have a coffee shop for you to relax in whilst your kids play and have fun. There is comfortable seating in the viewing area.

Indoor & Outdoor Activities

At Tearaways Pet Farm & Activity Centre we provide indoor and outdoor activities to keep all the family happy and active, all year round, whatever the weather.

We have a purpose built 6,000 square foot indoor activity centre with slides, crawling tunnels, ball pits and a separate toddler area. Tearaways has a coffee shop for you to relax in whilst your kids play and have fun.

There is plenty of comfortable seating in the viewing area. You can purchase various hot and cold food and drinks.

Our outdoor facilities include our Pet Farm, outdoor playground, sports area, sledge run, games area, go-cart track and of course our ever popular barrel train.

We have lots of friendly animals to see including our goats, pigs, donkey, alpacas, llama, emu, sheep, calves, rabbits and our Scottish Highlander. We will make every effort to ensure that you have a most enjoyable day out in a safe & friendly environment.

Please bear the following in mind before visiting Tearaways: All children must wear socks in order to use our indoor play structure. Don't forget to bring socks, long trousers and long sleeves if you want to use the slides as all skin must be covered. We sell socks at Tearaways.  For their safety, under 3s are not allowed use any of our indoor mega slides.

We love a good party at Tearaways!! We cater for groups of all sizes for birthday parties and school tours. Let us make your occasion a memorable one and there’s no mess for you to clean up!

Birthday Cake is not included. In order to avail of the party package you need to have a minimum of 8 fee paying children. Our party meal offers a choice of Sausages & Chips OR Chicken Nuggets & Chips and Jugs of Cordial. • Take M6 signed Dublin
• At junction16 leave the M6 signposted Loughrea
• Follow signs for Portumna N65 Straight through Killimor
• Enter Portumna turn left onto Main St, continue straight through town
• Cross the bridge and turn left onto R489 signposted Birr
• Arrive at Tearaways 16km on left

From Athlone

• Take Old Dublin road R446
• Turn right onto N62 signposted Birr

• In Cloghan take 2nd exit off roundabout towards Banagher
