About Blackpool Zoo

Huge 32 acre Zoo that provides a home to over 1,500 animals. Recent investment has allowed for an increase in types of animals by providing more suitable enclosures, Orangutan Outlook, Elephant and Reptile House, Gorilla Mountain, Lemur Wood, Active Oceans, Giraffe Heights, Big Cats, Wallaby Walkabout, Dinosaur Safari and some fantastic facilities for kids.
