About Dún na Sí Heritage Park
The Amenity Park at Dún na Sí is a newly created community park for all, encompassing ecology, arts, education and play. The area now covered by the Amenity Park was once a ‘commons’ used for grazing and was known locally as the ‘Cow Park’. Through the work of a local community group, the Midland Amenity Park Association, work began in 2008 to develop the area into a park and nature reserve.
