About Portmarnock Beach

Portmarnock is a wonderful long beach on the Northside of Dublin. It is the sea side of a sand spit where the Portmarnock Championship golf course sits. There is a long strand perfect for refreshing walks with wonderful views across the water towards Howth, Ireland's Eye and Lambay Island. It is very popular with families during the summer and dog walkers all year around. The sand is nice and soft - perfect for sand castles.
