About Ardgillan Castle & Playground

Ardgillan is a large 18th Century country manor house (1738) built in extensive grounds overlooking the Irish Sea. The demesne features a walled garden and a rose garden. Within the house, the ground floor rooms and the kitchens are open to visitors (guided tour only). Ardgillan Park is unique among Dublin’s regional parks for the magnificent views it enjoys of the coastline.
